Two quick goals from Sebastien Le Toux gave the Philadelphia Union an early 2-0 lead, but a pair of DC United goals tied it up within a span of 15 minutes to send the game between the two Eastern Conference rivals into halftime tied 2-2 on Thursday. The Union have a chance to grab the top spot in the East with a win, while United can move into playoff position with a win.

Both of Le Toux's goals came when he got behind some poor United defending. The first was on a long ball over the top that Le Toux gathered just inside the area and was able to slot past goalkeeper Bill Hamid. On the next one, he chested down a nicely weighted pass from Michael Farfan and again beat Hamid. He followed that one up with a rather impressive imitation of the "flash mob dance" made semi-famous on an AT&T Wireless commercial.
But the Union's lead was short-lived as their defense broke down just as quickly as United's. Dwayne De Rosario scored his league-leading 14th goal of the season on a header off a corner as Zac MacMath failed to cover the near post. MacMath was beaten near post again just eight minutes later, this time by Andy Najar, who took a pass from Bill Hamid and waltzed through the Union defense on his way to the goal.
