Inter Milan didn't appear to have any rust to shake off after the winter break on Saturday, while Parma looked like they never got the memo that Serie A was back. The Nerazzurri were absolutely brilliant at home in the San Siro, taking Parma apart from start to finish in a dominant 5-0 victory. Diego Milito netted a goal in the 13th minute, and the game felt all but over when he scored.

That goal was assisted by Ricky Alvarez, who had a great game as the playmaker for Inter, starting in place of the injured Wesley Sneijder. Thiago Motta scored the second -- the goal that effectively ended the game -- in the 17th minute with a great half-volley. Milito scored another just before halftime with a great header, sending his team into the locker room up 3-0.
Things didn't get any better for Parma in the second half. The fourth goal was the best of the bunch, finished off by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 56th minute. Milito assisted the goal with a fantastic run and through ball on a counter attack, with Pazzini finishing by chipping over Antonio Mirante. 20-year-old substitute Marco Davide Faraoni added the fifth, netting in the 78th minute.
