Arsenal vs. QPR: Preview and TV schedule

Arsenal in crisis? Well, I guess, but playing QPR is one way to de-crisis yourself in a hurry.

Arsenal have a fine opportunity to rebound from their humiliation at Carrow Road by hosting another piece of relegation fodder in Queens Park Rangers. Of course, that also means the potential for even greater embarrassment, because losing to a London derby at home against a relegation-threatened team would be pretty much the worst, but that's probably not going to happen. QPR are abject, having picked up just three points in their first eight matches (they're on course for a whopping total of 14), and although the Gunners have lost three of their last four matches, any result other than a comfortable Arsenal win would be a bit of a shock.

That's despite a butcher's bill that would make Pyrrhus blanch. You could build most of a good Premier League team out of Arsenal's injury list, and although the likes of Bacary Sagna, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere are slowly creeping back towards full fitness, the Gunners are still under-strength. That might be QPR's only hope. Having failed to put away 10-man Everton at Loftus Road last weekend (but managing a point anyway), Mark Hughes' side remain bottom of the table, and although miracles happen, it's unlikely that that's going to change this week. They're simply too disjointed this year, and until they fix things -- and fingers should probably be pointed at the manager -- it's going to be a rough season for them.
