Liverpool vs. Fulham 2012: Preview and TV schedule

Liverpool face Fulham at Anfield as they struggle for form and consistency in the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers won't like to talk about it, but Liverpool are desperately struggling for form and consistency and need a good run of results in order to propel themselves up the table. He won't like to talk about it because the last time he did, they promptly went and lost 3-1 to Aston Villa at home. They'll be looking for a far better performance against similarly-temperamental when Martin Jol's men come visiting in Saturday's late game.

One man that Liverpool will have to be wary of is Dimitar Berbatov - the former Manchester United striker has plenty of history against them from his time at their bitter rivals. They'll be hoping he doesn't score another hat-trick today, at least.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Oussama Aissadi (knee). In doubt: Jose Enrique (hamstring), Nuri Sahin (broken nose)

Fulham injuries and suspensions

Out: Steve Sidwell (suspended), Mahamadou Diarra (knee), Bryan Ruiz (hamstring), Neil Etheridge (thigh). In doubt: Sasha Riether (knee)

Liverpool should have Jose Enrique and Nuri Sahin back from injury, but Oussama Aissadi is out and Rodgers has mentioned that he will probably need to rest Raheem Sterling, who recently signed a new contract.

Martin Jol has recalled David Stockdale from his loan at Hull following Neil Etheridge's injury, and his team will be further blunted by the absence of Mahamadou Diarra and Bryan Ruiz. Sasha Riether does return to the side in some rare good news for the Cottagers.

Match Date\Time: Saturday, 5:30 p.m. local, 12:30 p.m. ET

Venue: Anfield, Liverpool, England

TV: ESPN 2, ESPN 3 (U.S. English), ESPN Deporte (U.S. Spanish), Sky Sports 3\HD (U.K.), RDS, TSN2 (Canada)
