Owen Coyle: The Next 24 Hours Are Absolutely Crucial

Owen Coyle has spoken further about Fabrice Muamba's condition as Muamba remains in a critical condition at the London Chest Center in Bethnall Green.

Whilst the club stated almost immediately that there would be no further comment on the situation, the Bolton boss spoke to Sky News telling them;

Fabrice is critically ill. The next 24 hours are going to be absolutely crucial. We’ve obviously been inundated with people wishing him well and we hope that if everybody can pray strongly tonight that Fabrice is able to recover. It’s very serious. There’s not getting away from that. He’s critically ill and God willing he makes it through.

Whilst we still don't have any further details on the former England U21 captain, thoughts and well wishes have come from all corners of the football family, not just in England but abroad too as the likes of Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo dedicated his side's win over Fiorentina to Muamba, whilst Barcelona midfield Andres Iniesta also joined the throng of well wishers on Twitter.

We’ll bring you more details as we have them on Muamba’s condition in this StoryStream.
