VIDEO: Peter Crouch For Goal Of The Week ... Beware The Aliens

This is not a joke. I repeat, this is not a joke. Peter Crouch is in the lead for Goal of the Week honors and not in the ironic or even humorous way. He actually has one of the best goals of the week.

With Stoke deadlocked with City, Crouch knocked a long ball down to give the Potters possession (so far, normal). He then quickly got the ball back as he turned towards goal (so far, still normal). His first touch was to pop it up into the air (not exactly normal, but it could have been a mistake). Then, Crouch hits the ball he popped up on a volley, looping it over Joe Hart and into the far side netting for an incredible goal (this is the point where the aliens take us all).

Beware the aliens. They are coming.
