Hoffenheim vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach: Final score 0-0, Scoreless draw won’t satisfy either club
Hoffenheim ended a six match losing streak with a scoreless draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The match was Marco Kurz’s first in charge of Hoffenheim since taking over during the winter break. The former Kaiserslautern manager set his side up to play a little more defensive than normal in a cautious formation, and it paid off. Tim Wiese returned between the posts for Hoffenheim, but the goalkeeper didn’t have a lot to do in keeping out Gladbach.
Gladbach will be disappointed that they didn’t come away from Rhein-Neckar Arena with all three points. Luuk de Jong missed the goal completely at the hour mark, and Roel Brouwers headed the ball over the goal a few minutes later.
The point pulls Hoffenheim within seven points of 15th place Nürnberg, but they will play tomorrow. Gladbach are in 8th place, one point behind 7th place Mainz.
