Arsenal vs. Liverpool: Preview and TV schedule

The tastiest game of the Premier League round sees Arsenal host Liverpool in Saturday’s late kickoff.

Arsenal match at home to Liverpool late on Saturday is the one unmissable fixture of the Premier League round. Both of these sides have been surprisingly impressive so far, and look like mounting serious title challenges after years of irrelevance in the race for first place.

League leaders Arsenal have won seven of their opening nine league games and have only lost once in the league all season. However, having suffered back-to-back defeats against big sides -- Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, albeit with the latter coming in the Capital One Cup -- they've still got criticisms to answer, and weaknesses for Liverpool -- who are currently just a couple of points in arrears -- to exploit.

The Gunners still have a pretty lengthy injury list for this match, with the usual suspects all still unavailable. They'll be more immediately concerned with getting Mathieu Flamini and Serge Gnabry fit to play, with both early doubts. For Liverpool, Iago Aspas and Sebastián Coates are both still unavailable, while there remain question marks over the fitness of Philippe Coutinho and José Enrique.

Arsenal injuries and suspensions

Out: Theo Walcott (abdomen), Yaya Sanogo (back), Lukas Podolski (hamstring), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee), Abou Diaby (knee). In doubt: Mathieu Flamini (groin), Serge Gnabry (knock).

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Iago Aspas (thigh), Sebastián Coates (knee). In doubt: Philippe Coutinho (shoulder), José Enrique (knee).
