Arsene Wenger has opted to start Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky as his team face Marseille at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal vs. Olympique Marseille: Lineups
Arsenal opt to start both Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky, while Marseille curiously leave Florian Thauvin and Mathieu Valbuena out of the starting lineup.
Santiago Cazorla and Theo Walcott are both on the bench, so Rosicky starts out wide alongside Mesut Ozil, with Jack Wilshere ahead of the familiar double pivot of Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini. Olivier Giroud continues up front.
Marseille meanwhile keep Andre-Pierre Gignac in the side after his recent impressive display, while Jordan Ayew and Saber Khalifa are in support. There is no place for Mathieu Valbuena or the in-form Florian Thauvin, both of whom are on the bench, but youngsters Gianni Imbula and Mario Lemina start in midfield.
Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Wojciech Szczesny; Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Ignacio Monreal; Mathieu Flamini, Aaron Ramsey; Tomas Rosicky, Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere; Olivier Giroud.
