Say goodbye to the Premier League, Reading and Queens Park Rangers. The duo fought it out to an excruciating goalless draw at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday, and the result conveniently relegates both. If it hadn't the two sides would have been expelled from football based on being incredibly boring anyway.
Both now sit nine points behind 17th place with three games to play, but with Aston Villa set to play against Wigan Athletic on the last day of the season, it's now mathematically impossible that at least one of them won't pick up enough points to assure that this not-so-dynamic duo goes down.
Reading, naturally, will get more sympathy than the Londonders, who attempted to spend their way out of trouble and ended up with a team that was pricey, dysfunctional and featured Harry Redknapp as a manager. But neither side contributed much to the league this season, and it's difficult to see how they'll be missed too much.
Reading and QPR relegated
After a 0-0 draw between Reading and Queens Park Rangers, both sides got what they deserved: the drop.
