Chelsea have, at least temporarily, moved back up into third place in the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 win over Swansea City. The Swans haven't had much to play for this spring, and they looked like it for long stretches of Sunday's game.

Some mediocre finishing and a decent goalkeeping performance by Michel Vorm were all that kept Chelsea from beating Swansea by many more goals.
The first 23 minutes of the game were very uneventful, with neither team managing to create much of anything, but the game changed when Chelsea were forced into a substitution. Frank Lampard came on for the injured Ramires, and the Blues looked much better from that point forward as Lampard put in an excellent performance.
Oscar put Chelsea ahead in the 43rd minute with a lovely finish, placed to the far post from just inside the penalty area. John Terry started the move with a pass forward to Lampard, who moved the ball off to his right for Oscar. The Brazilian midfielder made a small bit of space for himself and picked out an open corner of the net. Just two minutes later, Juan Mata was pushed from behind in the penalty area and Mark Clattenburg gave a penalty. Lampard stepped up and buried it, sending Chelsea into the second half with a two-goal lead.
The hosts continued to dominate in the second half, though they didn't manage to score again. Swansea looked dangerous on a couple of counters, but lacked a finishing touch and never forced Petr Cech into a difficult save.
