Despite losing midweek to Tuscan rivals Fiorentina, Siena are still clinging to hopes of Serie A survival. The robur must be patting themselves on the back for managing to beat Genoa back in November, as their better head-to-head is the only thing keeping them afloat. But the rossoblu will have to lose to both Inter Milan (and who does that these days?) and Bologna, while Siena would have to win at Napoli before beating AC Milan next week.
Napoli vs. Siena, preview: Can the visitors take advantage of Napoli’s celebratory hangover?
Siena must be perfect -- and Genoa can’t collect even a point -- over the next two rounds in order to avoid relegation. Fortunately for the robur, Napoli clinched second place midweek and no longer have anything to play for.

But look on the bright side -- you’re likely to get very good odds betting on Siena’s survival.
The visitors haven’t scored a single goal in their last four matches, much less picked up a point. Yet there’s one shiny, sparkly, so-thin-it’s-translucent silver lining: Napoli sewed up second place with their win over Bologna on Wednesday. They’ve bypassed the Champions League qualifiers and will be waiting to see their name pulled out of the hat come August 29. And judging from all the champagne being sprayed around in the plethora of photos available after the midweek match, well, it’s quite likely the partenopei are still suffering from a collective hangover.
Except, perhaps, for Marek Hamsik. The midfielder showed up in just one photo and his smile seemed quite straight. Then again, there was no documented evidence of Morgan De Sanctis frolicking with the others, but I'm pretty sure that's because he was passed out under a table already.
Anyway. There’s a match, Siena must win, Napoli don’t give two hoots. Watch this be the only game all season where Napoli win without making it look difficult.

Poor Bera, he left the match against Bologna with a twisted ankle and had to hobble through the celebrations. But at least that gave him plenty of time to take photos for the twitters!
