Kurt Zouma starts for Chelsea against Maribor

Loic Rémy replaces the injured Diego Costa and Kurt Zouma gets a surprise start in the defense.

Chelsea can take another step towards the knockout round of the Champions League with a win at Stamford Bridge over Maribor. Here’s how the two sides will lineup.

With Diego Costa sidelined thanks to a hamstring injury, Loic Rémy gets the start up front for the Blues. Kurt Zouma, who wasn’t expected to play gets a surprise start in the defense in place of Gary Cahill. Cesc Fàbregas drops deeper in the midfield with Nemanja Matić, while Oscar slots in behind Rémy.

Maribor head coach Ante Šimundža has made a couple changes from his team’s 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon. Defender Arghus and midfielder Sintyaho Solelich are both out of the starting lineup, replaced by Marko Šuler and Damjan Bohar. Aleš Mejač also comes in, replacing Dare Vrsic.
