Watch Chris Tierney’s goal that sent the MLS Cup Final to extra time

The Revs didn’t create many chances, but they made the most of this one.

The LA Galaxy have had the best chances in the MLS Cup Final and more opportunities to double their lead than the New England Revolution have had to equalize, but they put together a great equalizer in the 78th minute through Chris Tierney, the club's longest-serving player.

Patrick Mullins' run off the ball to open up space is more important and impressive than the assist or the finish, and it's one heck of an intelligent play for a rookie.
