Real Madrid vs. Schalke 04: Preview and TV schedule

Madrid effectively won the tie with a 6-1 first leg win in Germany, but anything can happen...though it probably won’t.

Thanks to Real Madrid's 6-1 triumph in the first leg, chances are Schalke 04 will just be trying to find some improved form that will benefit them for the rest of their Bundesliga campaign.

For Jens Keller and Schalke, they fully realize that they probably have just 90 minutes left in this season’s Champions League. A five-goal aggregate deficit is virtually impossible to overcome against any team, but to go into the Bernabéu and pull it off against Madrid is basically impossible.

Carlo Ancelotti knows the importance of the Clásico match-up this coming weekend and is expected to rest some starters thanks to the large aggregate lead Madrid holds. Striker Karim Benzema will not play after suffering a thigh injury on Saturday and Gareth Bale will likely be rested as well. That mean youngsters Alvaro Morata and Jeseé will get stars alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
