Real Madrid vs. Schalke 04: Lineups

Carlo Ancelotti has sent out a bit of a weakened lineup holding a large aggregate lead, and knowing that Barcelona is waiting for them over the weekend.

Real Madrid's massive lead after the first leg makes Tuesday's match at the Bernabéu a bit of a formality, but none the less, the match must be played and Madrid still have to finish the job.

Carlo Ancelotti has put out a good lineup, but not his best, which makes since considering his side's 6-1 lead and a massive Clásico match looming this weekend. Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema (who is dealing with a minor thigh injury), Pepe, Marcelo and Luka Modrić are all out of the starting lineup, with several youngsters including Álvaro Morata and Jesé getting a start up front.

Schalke 04 are likely looking to build some confidence and avoid a repeat of their embarassing performance form the first leg. Just a couple changes from the first leg with Kaan Ayhan, Benedikt Höwedes, and Chinedu Obasi coming into the lineup, with Jefferson Farfan, Felipe Santana (both injured) and Kevin Prince-Boatang out.

Real Madrid (4-3-3): Iker Casillas; Fabio Coentrao, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Nacho; Xabi Alonso, Asier Illaramendi, Isco; Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata, Jese Rodriguez

Schalke 04 (4-2-3-1): Ralf Fährmann; Sead Kolasinac, Benedikt Höwedes, Joel Matip, Tim Hoogland; Roman Neustätder, Kaan Ayhan; Julian Draxler, Max Meyer, Chinedu Obasi; Klass-Jan Huntelaar
