West Ham vs. Manchester United: Preview and TV schedule

Manchester United will face West Ham on Saturday, missing Robin Van Persie thanks to an injured knee.

A top four finish is likely out of United's reach but there's still pride to pay for, along with a chance to potentially get closer to passing both Everton and Tottenham in the table. With a Manchester derby looming, United must first turn their attention to a trip to West Ham.

Manchester United should be flying high after their come from behind victory over Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday. That victory came a high cost as Robin van Persie will be out for at least a month, and when you combine their draw against Bayern Munich, it's one step forward, two steps back. It's just been that kind of season for David Moyes.

Despite two straight losses, West Ham remain safely clear of the relegation battle. Their six point cushion is good but continued failures to get points could lead to them being drug back down into the ruckus to avoid the Championship next season. If there was ever a great time for the Irons to collect some much needed point against United, Saturday might be the day thanks to the Red Devils’ weakened state.
