Inter Milan could seriously use a top quality attacking midfielder or winger, and Marseille youngster Florian Thauvin would certainly fit the bill. "Inter Milan have set their sights on Marseille midfielder Florian Thauvin, according to reports in France," says the Sky Sports transfer tracker, and it would be a big move for the nerazzurri.
Inter Milan chasing French winger
Marseille won’t be selling Florian Thauvin unless they get big money, but that might be coming from Inter Milan.

But of course, the reports in France that Sky are citing aren’t original, which is probably why they neglected to cite a specific outlet. All of the French reports cite Canal+, a French subscription television station. They claim that Marseille are asking €25m and that Inter are seriously interested.
Even though Inter are now owned by a billionaire and have a serious need for a tricky player like Thauvin, it’s tough to see them impulsively throwing down that sum of money on transfer deadline day. They’ve been a bit cheap this window, looking for loans and cheap transfers instead of making big splashes.
Thauvin, 21, has been excellent over the last two seasons. He scored 10 goals for Bastia two seasons ago, and 10 for Marseille last season.
