USMNT takes control after bad start with goals by Fabian Johnson, Jozy Altidore

Were you worried?

The United States men's national team started very poorly against St. Vincent and the Grenadines, conceding a surprise goal. But they didn't take long to recover, with Bobby Wood pulling them level, and they were well in control by the half-hour mark. Fabian Johnson made it 2-1.

And then, Jozy Altidore made it 3-1 shortly afterwards, off a corner by Johnson and a flick by Jermaine Jones.

The second goal was a bit unlucky for St. Vincent, but it seems like it was the one that demoralized them. The US quickly took control after that, and Altidore’s goal only took a couple of minutes. And after all this, it would be surprising if the USMNT didn’t score a few more.
