After a scoreless and largely first half, you wouldn't have been alone in wondering if anything would ever happen between Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg in the DFL-Supercup. The only clear goalscoring chance was wasted when Kevin De Bruyne missed an empty net, and there was really nothing else to even worry about all half long.
Arjen Robben scores the first Bayern Munich goal of the season

Then the second half started, and Arjen Robben happened.
OK, to be fair, this goal wasn't totally thanks to Robben, but he came in so fast to bang in that rebound that at first, fans and commentators alike thought Robert Lewandowski scored it because he was the only one in position when Douglas Costa sent that ball in. He wound up being in a better position to score, as Lewa would have had to drag the ball around his body to get it on frame, where Robben only had to poke it home.
Also, full credit to Costa, because that was quite a burst of speed to create space and a nice cross to set up the goal. This was his first competitive match for Bayern, and the early results are looking pretty good for the young Brazilian.
