U.S. Open 2011 Schedule For Thursday: Djokovic, Federer, Serena Highlight Action

Wednesday at the 2011 U.S. Open was the Americans’ chance to shine. Thursday, the world’s top players take over to show them how it’s done.

Wednesday at the 2011 U.S. Open was the Americans’ chance to shine. Thursday, the world’s top players take over to show them how it’s done. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 3 Roger Federer both take the court in their second-round match-ups on the men’s side. Meanwhile for the women, No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki headlines the field.

There are some Americans on the court Thursday worth noting. Men’s World No. 8 Mardy Fish will square off against Malek Jaziri while over on the women’s side, Serena Williams will meet Michaella Krajicek for the chance to advance to the third round.

Here’s a schedule of some of the biggest matches of the day.
