U.S. Open 2012 Schedule And TV Coverage: Novak Djokovic Headlines Thursday

The 2012 U.S. Open will continue Thursday with a pair of men’s quarterfinal matches at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Second-seeded Novak Djokovic will headline as he takes on No. 7 Juan Martin del Potro to end the day on the main court.

Djokovic will be looking to advance to his sixth straight U.S. Open semifinal. Del Potro won the tournament in 2009, but has not reached this far since then. He ended the career of U.S. tennis star Andy Roddick in a rain-delayed four-set victory on Wednesday.

Del Potro and Djokovic will play after an exhibition doubles match scheduled for 7 p.m. ET that will feature John McEnroe and movie star Adam Sandler against Jim Courier and comedian Kevin James.

The mixed doubles champion will be crowned when Kveta Peschke and Marcin Matkowski face Ekaterina Makarova and Bruno Soares at noon ET.

Following the mixed doubles final will be a men’s quarterfinals match between No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic and No. 4 David Ferrer. The winner will advance to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of Djokovic and del Potro.

All matches can be seen on The Tennis Channel or ESPN2. All matches can be streamed live here.
