Barcelona vs. Celtic: Lineups

Celtic manager Neil Lennon had this to say about Barca ahead of today’s match.

"Barcelona are killers with the face of angels. They eat you alive if you don't pay attention."

His side will definitely have to pay attention if they hope to get a result in the Camp Nou tonight. Lennon has named nearly the same lineup he used in Celtic’s surprise 3-2 away victory against Spartak earlier this month. The only change is Kris Commons being dropped in favor of Joe Ledley in the midfield.

Tito Vilanova's angel faced killers continue to have their defensive lineup dictated by injuries. Javier Mascherano starts again, but for the first time 21-year-old Marc Bartra gets the start next to him at center back. With Mascherano on the back line, Alex Song starts in a defensive midfield role, working behind the usual duo of Xavi and Andres Iniesta. No surprises up front with Pedro, Messi and Alexis starting.

Celtic starting lineup (4-1-4-1): Fraser Forster; Mikael Lustig, Efe Ambrose, Kelvin Wilson, Emilio Izaguirre; Victor Wanyama; Scott Brown, Charlie Mulgrew, Joe Ledley, Georgios Samaras; Gary Hooper.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-3-3): Victor Valdés; Adriano, Javier Mascherano, Mark Bartra, Jordi Alba; Alex Song, Xavi, Andres Iniesta; Pedro, Lional Messi, Alexis Sanchez.

Kickoff is at 2:45 p.m. ET. You can catch the game on FOX Deportes or your regional Fox Sports Net channel in the U.S. and Sky Sports 2 in the U.K.
