The only Canadian team in Major League Baseball has switched to an American airline to work around the ban on foreign carriers flying between U.S. airports, the Associated Press reports.

The situation is making life much more complicated for the Blue Jays, even for a short trip to Detroit:
The Blue Jays begin a four-game series in Detroit on Friday and had intended to fly to Windsor, Ontario, before crossing the border by bus......Unable to use an American carrier for a domestic flight in Canada, the Blue Jays changed their destination to Detroit and were granted approval.
The intent of the Obama administration to keep American flights in American hands is one thing, but this has gotten pretty ridiculous.
