Obama Re-Opens American Skies to Canadians

As autumn approaches, expect the Maple Leafs be flying around America again, according to reports from The Globe and Mail.

After a meeting with Canadian PM Stephen Harper, President Obama tentatively agreed to make an exemption to the ban on foreign carriers flying between American cities for the Canadian sports teams of the NHL, MLB, and NBA.

So congratulations to Air Canada. I’m sure the loss of the Columbus-Tampa route had them on the verge of bankruptcy.
