Nadal Destroys Gonzalez Saturday, Wins Quarterfinals Match

Before postponement, the match was 7-6 6-6, Nadal. On Saturday, the casual observer would never have guessed that the front end of the match was even close. Nadal won without conceding a single set, winning 7-6 6-6 6-0.

Nadal looked sharp, and Gonzalez, until the last couple of sets, looked positively awful. CBS’ commentary observed that Gonzalez looked like he just wanted to get off the court.
