After a disastrous play by Bills kick returner Leodis McKelvan, who fumbled the ball on the ensuing kick return, the Patriots got a short field and drove 31 yards in 3 plays. Brady found Watson again for a 16-yard touchdown which gave the Patriots a one point lead. It’s an utterly disastrous end for the Bills, provided they can’t drive and score a field goal in the remaining :45 seconds.

The Patriots were in two-minute mode as they drove down the field quickly on an 11-play, 81 yard drive in 1:54. The Bills defense looked winded as the Brady looked like the Brady of old; he topped the drive with an 18-yard pass to tight end Benjamin Watson.

The Bills came back and drove 14 plays for 62 yards, capped off by a 10-yard screen pass from Trent Edwards to Fred Jackson. Jackson has 57 yards rushing and 80 yards receiving. Jackson is proving a more-than-capable substitute for Marshawn Lynch, whose three-game suspension isn’t looking so dire anymore.
