Let’s think about this: Lagarette Blount--what a fantastic name, BTW--cold cocked someone who 100% deserved it. Now, as a senior with legitimate NFL prospects, he’ll be suspended for the rest of the year. Isn’t this why God created the race card?

↵Seriously, had LaGarrette Blount come out after the game and “I’m sorry, they had been shouting racial slurs at me all game, and I... I guess I just snapped.” Suddenly, all of that moral outrage from columnists around the country would have been directed at the faceless Boise crowd. And just like that, everybody wins nobody gets suspended for the entirety of their senior season. At most, he would have gotten two games--which is probably what he should have gotten, anyways.
