If you’re not a hockey fan, fine. Perhaps the lockout soured you, or perhaps you’re just wistful for the days Jeremy Roenick and NHL 94. We understand. But at the very least, you should appreciate Alex Ovechkin, the best player on the planet, and one of the most entertaining people, anywhere. And a terrible, terrible driver.
You Should Love Alex Ovechkin
↵Which is why it was an awesome idea to allow him to drive a Zamboni down Sixth Avenue in New York City. In honor of Ovechkin’s turn at the wheel, Puck Daddy presents “Other Great Moments in Ovechkin Vehicular History.” Personally, I’m partial to his work in this used car commercial, although nearly decapitating himself is a fine showing, as well.
↵He’s crazy, but in a lovable way. And he just might make you love hockey.
