Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times is reporting that the Oakland Raiders have interviewed Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson.
Report: Raiders Interview Ravens’ Hue Jackson For Both Head Coach And Offensive Coordinator
Interviewing for what position you ask? Oh, the offensive coordinator AND head coaching job (that is still, as of this moment, occupied by Tom Cable).
According to a league source with knowledge of the situation, Jackson is also meeting with the Raiders regarding the head-coaching position currently held by Tom Cable.
Jackson remains in Oakland at team headquarters as of this evening, according to a source.
As one SBNation.com writer just told me, Al Davis likely has two dart boards:
One to pick his coaching candidate and one to pick their position.
In all seriousness, adding Jackson would actually be a good move on the Raiders part. He’s worked with Joe Flacco the last two seasons in Baltimore and has been considered instrumental in his success.
