John ‘Doomsday’ Howard v. Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson At UFC Fight Night 21

MMA Mania with the news on this welterweight bout:

UFC welterweight prospects Anthony Johnson (8-3) and John Howard (13-4) have agreed to settle their longstanding feud at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 21 event scheduled for March 21 in Denver, Colorado.

MMAmania.com confirmed with Johnson’s camp earlier today that both parties have verbally agreed to the contest.

Howard is coming off a dramatic last second knockout of Dennis Hallman in a fight he was losing badly on the scorecards while Johnson was submitted by Josh Koscheck.

The two men have exchanged verbal jabs and now on March 21 will look to get in the cage and settle their differences. A loss by either man sets them back significantly and a loss by Johnson would probably officially remove him from contender status.
