Daniel Roberts to Replace Injured Anthony Johnson at UFC on Versus
It didn’t take long for John Howard to find a new opponent.
Howard’s manager Linda Shields confirmed that Daniel Roberts will be stepping in as a replacement for the injured Anthony Johnson.
The fight is scheduled to take place for the UFC’s first broadcast on the Versus network, dubbed “UFC on Versus 1,” on March 21.
Roberts is 9-0 and has only had a fight go to the judges scorecards twice. His submission game is very tight and he has a decent wrestling base to get his opponent into his world.
