Al Davis Woke Up In Fourth Round, Raiders Drafting Like The Raiders
The first two days of the 2010 NFL Draft offered a sight rarely seen in Radio City Music Hall: the Oakland Raiders making intelligent, need-based picks (selecting Rolando McClain, Lamarr Houston and Jared Veldheer). Well, not to worry, because the Raiders are up to their usual tricks Saturday in the Fourth Round, taking a pair of combine studs, Bruce Campbell and Jacoby Ford, the latter of which turned in the fastest 40-time in Indianapolis. So why the sudden shift in thinking? As our blog Mocking The Draft surmises, looks like Al Davis finally woke up.
