Chris Bosh, who took an Antawn Jamison elbow to the face early in the first quarter Tuesday night, left the game and headed to the Cleveland Clinic for a CT scan. From the reports tweeted by SLAM Online’s Holly MacKenzie (via the Raptors PR staff), the elbow did some damage.

Initial interpretation of a CT scan showed a maxilla and nasal fracture to the right side of his face.
Bosh will remain in Cleveland overnight for further evaluation and treatment.
UPDATE: From Will Carroll, the Internet’s Injury Expert, this is what that all means: “Badly broken nose. No blowout or orbital fx, so could have been worse.”
No word yet on how much time Bosh will miss, if any. Here’s how it all happened.
Bosh was fighting for position in the lane with Jamison when he was nailed by the elbow. Bosh immediately dropped to the floor and stayed there as play continued at the other end. Dazed by the blow, Bosh got to his knees as blood poured onto the court.
When there was finally a whistle, medical personnel from both teams went onto the floor to attend to Bosh, who was in obvious pain. Holding a towel to his face, he was helped from the court and taken to Cleveland’s locker room, where he was examined by Cavs team physician Dr. Richard Parker.
The Raptors entered the night as the eight-seed in the East.
