The game was seemingly on the line and Curry knew he would get a good pitch to hit with the bases loaded and a full count with two outs. That’s when Curry hit an absolute bomb to dead center field, easily clearing the fence for a game-changing grand slam. All of a sudden, a two run Florida St. lead was a two run TCU lead.
A two-run home run later in the inning by Jantzen Witte extended the TCU lead to 11-7, more unearned runs and bringing the Seminoles’ five errors in the game into the spotlight. However it happened, TCU holds a four run lead as the Seminoles head to the ninth, three outs away from elimination.
