Jets Reportedly Inquire About Former Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell

The Jets have their quarterback of the future but, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, they may be looking for a backup.

Per Cimini, the Jets have “inquired” about JaMarcus Russell.

The last time we heard from Russell his camp was denying rumors that the UFL was an option.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter previously reported that teams have called about Russell, including the Bengals. At this point, though, nothing has come of the calls.
