Apparently, Carmelo Anthony isn't the only Denver Nugget that could find himself on a new team. According to Chris Tomasson of Fanhouse, J.R. Smith might also be packing his bags soon.
Report: Nuggets Looking To Trade J.R. Smith
A source close to the situation said the Nuggets are looking to trade the erratic Smith, who is entering the final year of a contract that will pay the shooting guard $6.03 million.
Former Nuggets GM Mark Warkentein was apparently a big fan of Smith, but now that he's gone, Smith's place with the franchise is tenuous. He's butted heads with George Karl and Adrian Dantley, and while he can light up the scoreboard, he often takes the team out of their offensive flow. However, he can score, and he also has an expiring contract. The Nuggets should be able to find a trade partner if they look around.
