Jimmy Rollins Out Of Friday Lineup, But Will Take Batting Practice

The Phillies’ starting lineup for Friday night’s game against the Mets is out, and Jimmy Rollins is absent, with Wilson Valdez playing shortstop. However, there’s reason to be optimistic, here:

According to Ruben Amaro, Rollins could play Saturday or Sunday, but could also miss the whole weekend. What’s clear is that, while the Phillies aren’t exactly sure when Rollins will come back, they are not concerned this his injury is serious.
