Detroit quarterback Shaun Hill threw for 335 yards, two scores, and two picks in Matthew Stafford’s absence. Brandon Pettigrew pulled in 108 yards on seven receptions. Calvin Johnson finally completed a touchdown catch to a referee’s satisfaction.
Desean Jackson caught four balls for 135 yards, and McCoy ran for 120. This entire recap could probably consist of nothing but offensive stats, as neither defense provided much resistance.
Ndamukong Suh collected his first NFL sack. Sacking Vick should probably count as two sacks, but there it is. The Lions totaled five sacks on the day, which would be ten sacks, meaning sacks of Vick should not count as two.
