Lightning Vs. Penguins, Game 5: Pittsburgh Returns Home, Can Close Out Tampa With Victory

If we’ve learned anything in these 2011 NHL playoffs, it’s that no lead is safe. From blown game leads to wild comebacks to potential history-making-in-progress between Chicago and Vancouver, this year’s first round has been pretty ridiculous on all fronts.

On series that hasn't seen much of that sort of thing, however, has been the one between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins. As the Pens return home to CONSOL Energy Center for Game 5, they can close out a pretty magical season for the Bolts -- one where they've returned to relevance on the heels of a complete overhaul in the management ranks.

For Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavalier and the boys, though, they'll be hoping for a Game 6 back in Tampa early next week, and looking even further ahead, they'll be hoping for some comeback heroics of their own in the series.

So far in the series, the problem for Tampa has been their lack of secondary scoring. They've had scoring from those big guns, but guys like Steven Stamkos and Simon Gagne have yet to kick into gear. Maybe it's just a lack of playoff experience for Stamkos, but that's the difference between victories and defeats thus far in this series.

When your 50-goal scorer isn't scoring, but Arron Asham is scoring at will for the opposition, you're going to lose.
