Adam Jones has been able to stay out of legal trouble for awhile. The Cincinnati Bengals defensive back better known as Pacman was apparently unable to keep that streak alive during the NFL lockout, however, as there are reports he was arrested following an incident at a bar early Sunday morning.
Pacman Jones Arrested After Altercation in Cincinnati Bar
Jones was detained by Cincinnati police for refusing to leave a bar early Sunday morning, WLWT reports (via Pro Football Talk), following an apparent altercation between an ‘intoxicated and disruptive’ Jones and his fellow bar patrons.
Jones apparently wasn’t cooperative with police, either, as he allegedly attempted to get out of his handcuffs before eventually needing two officers restrained him.
While this is certainly a bad incident for the oft in trouble Jones, it might not ultimately end up hurting his NFL career as the league has no control of what players do with the lockout in effect. Still, it doesn’t look good for the player who has been in trouble quite a few times already since coming out of West Virginia in 2005.
