Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, the league's leading rusher in 2010, picked up 47 yards in the first half against the New Orleans Saints, but his two rushing touchdowns helped put the Texans up at halftime, 24-14. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub was productive with a 12-for-16, 163-yard performance.

Schaub's main target was receiver Andre Johnson, who grabbed four receptions for 100 yards but no touchdowns. Ben Tate racked up 95 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
The Saints' Drew Brees completed 7-of-14 passes for 109 yards, but it was Chase Daniel who threw a touchdown pass. He connected with Joseph Morgan for a 56-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Rookie running back Mark Ingram rushed for a touchdown as part of his seven-carry, 25-yard performance.
