With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic both sidelined after sustaining injuries against West Bromwich Albion in the opening game of the season, Manchester United are fielding an extremely young side against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. There's good news for the hosts, however - Javier Hernandez is fit to make the bench after suffering concussion in pre-season.
Manchester United Vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Lineups
Tottenham, meanwhile, are without the services of Luka Modric, who apparently refused to travel with the team due to a combination of injury and wanting to move to Chelsea. It'll be up to Niko Krancjar and Rafel van der Vaart to open up this very young United defence. Considering Spurs' record at Old Trafford, I wouldn't bet on that happening.
