↵Oakland A’s right-handed pitcher Jason Rice has been claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Indians, the team announced this morning.↵Total major-league innings pitched: 0. I don’t know what the A’s strategy was, but it sure seems like if this were Monopoly, they’d have a green hotel up their nose right now. At least the A’s gave some money to those poor Red Sox in the Conor Jackson deal, which is how they ended up with Rice in first place.
