Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright is a player whose draft stock could potentially propel him to be the first wide receiver taken in the 2012 NFL Draft, depending on how he grades out at the NFL Combine compared to the other top-rated wide receivers. Wright missed a chance to separate himself at the 2012 Senior Bowl, pulling out with an ankle injury. Wright is expected to run the 40-yard dash in Indianapolis however, despite dealing with the ankle injury.

Some now have Wright rated as their top wide receiver in the 2012 draft class, ahead of Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon. If Wright can run in the 4.3 range in the 40-yard dash like most experts expect, he could very well cement his spot as the top receiver in the draft.
