Brandon Weeden hits Josh Gordon for 4th TD in 3 games

Josh Gordon and Brandon Weeden are just out there playing a little catch

The reviews on Josh Gordon were a mixed bag when the Cleveland Browns selected him in the second round of the supplemental draft. The former Baylor wide receiver had NFL-quality metrics -- he's big, fast and strong -- but the prior transgressions and a year off from football raised red flags. So far, he's making the Browns look smart.

The rookie wide receiver caught his fourth touchdown in the last three games on a 33-yard strike from Brandon Weeden. Gordon now has 14 catches for 325 yards on the season and is averaging over 23 yards per reception.

What the Browns have been missing for years is a big-play receiver in the mold of Vincent Jackson or Andre Johnson, a guy you can run deep routes or jump balls for who causes serious one-on-on matchup problems. They just might have found their guy.
