Streeter LeckaAccording to Wallace, Watkins was three minutes late for the meeting, but the infraction is not deemed serious, and the All-American wide receiver should see some early action against the Demon Deacons.
After a sensational freshman year, Watkins’ sophomore campaign has been a turbulent one. He was suspended for Clemson’s first two games against Auburn and Ball State after an offseason drug arrest. Watkins also missed the Tigers’ game against Boston College on Sept. 29 due to an abdominal virus.
