The 4-0 Oregon State Beavers will be without their starting quarterback, Sean Mannion, for an undisclosed amount of time, as he will have surgery on his knee.

Steve DykesSophomore Mannion is completing 63.3 percent of his passes and has thrown seven touchdowns to just four interceptions in four games this season. He will return to an Oregon State passing attack that is averaging 310.7 yards per game, which ranks 14th nationally.
At 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference, Oregon State is tied with Oregon for first place in the Pac-12 North division standings. The Beavers will host the Ducks at home on November 24.

It’s a devastating blow to a Beavers team that had plenty of momentum after a 19-6 win over Washington. They are 4-0 and lead the Pac-12 Conference in the standings. They will next face BYU on Oct. 13 on the road.
