Philip Rivers puts up good fantasy numbers in loss
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had a strong fantasy day in the Chargers 34-24 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rivers had a great first half for the Chargers, throwing all three of his touchdowns before halftime, but a fourth quarter pick six helped the Bucs secure the win.
Fantasy Impact: Sunday was Rivers first three touchdown performance since San Diego's Week 2 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The 337 yards are the second highest total for Rivers this season.
Interceptions have been an issue for Rivers all year, coming into the game he had thrown 10 picks through the Chargers first eight games. San Diego’s offense continues to be too unpredictable to rely on Rivers to put up big numbers every week. As it stands now he remains a mid tier fantasy option, but as he showed on Sunday he is certainly still capable of putting up numbers.
