Daniel Hudson Back To DL With Elbow Injury
The Diamondbacks placed Daniel Hudson on the DL with forearm tightness.
But he’s had a miserable season so far in 2012, posting a 7.35 ERA in nine starts, and going on the disabled list earlier in the year with a shoulder injury. He’s back again, this time for a forearm strain that might be related to an elbow injury.

The Diamondbacks could call up prospect Tyler Skaggs in Hudson's absence, or they could keep Josh Collmenter in the rotation. Collementer, already in the rotation to replace Joe Saunders, was expected to give way to prospect Trevor Bauer.
The Diamondbacks have recovered from a slow start, and they entered Wednesday just five games back in the NL West. They’ll have to rely on their young pitching sooner than they expected if they want to keep it up.
